It's a heavy shadow that would be able to darken Elena's day, though one bringing a hail of ash mingling with the snow definitely irks her with some annoyance. That is until her eyes lay on his face. And what a face it is. No proper words exist yet to do true justice to that face. What tragic eyes! Those perfectly-full bow-like lips! That darkened brow!

But too soon he moves away from Elena's view and she scrambles to her feet to go after him.

She follows him in a huff before blocking his path and clamping both her hands on his shoulders to stare him full in the face.
