Kit makes a noncommittal grunt in response at first, then crouches down to snatch up a handful of clean snow, which he uses to try to scrape off the worst of it. "Could've been worse," he replies, taking the situation with surprisingly good humour, "the thing could've landed on my head." Then Lorne might be dealing with a bigger, bloodier pile.
